I'm a Florida native, a wanderer & traveller, and am inspired by the big beautiful world around us. The more I travel, the more I realize how similar we all are and that makes my heart happy. I've roped calves in Santa Fe, danced in the streets at a Punjabi wedding, studied in Moscow in the 90's, hiked in the rainy season in Belize (maybe not the best time of year for that!), photographed bull riding & rodeos for about 2 years, and I have been fed by many wonderful mothers around the world. We live on a lake here in Florida and we paddle around as much as we can, and I love going 4-wheeling and getting muddy.
As for photography: I love a great big wide angle lens, and I never use HDR. I worked as a professional photographer for a few years - weddings & portraits - but the economy got tight, so it's "Corporate America" for me right now. But one day... one day...
I feel extremely lucky that my fiance is also a photographer (Jeremy Allen, here on 500px as well). We share our adventures and he lets me borrow his lenses! Now THAT is love.
